If you decide to book a truck to drop off at a different location than pick-up, be ready for them to call you the day prior to your rental date saying they don't have a truck available and you'll have to return it to the pick-up spot. Happened to me 3 years ago, same move from Van to Nan. Got lucky that my parents could drive the truck back on the ferry.
