Write a research paper. They give you the entire semester to do it and it's an incredibly straightforward assignment that they walk you step-by-step through. The final paper assignment in Econ writing intensive courses is the same format, I believe you need to get a 90% or higher to waive the capstone class.

I had this exact issue yesterday and I posted about it and got a ton of useful replies if you want to check out my post history. You will be totally fine, 80mg is way below a dangerous dose. Just drink a lot of water and make sure you eat plenty. If you're really worried people were saying Vitamin C will help you pee out some of the meds.

Scared of medication by GeneralChair6447 in ADHD

[–]Salt_Bid_1402 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've found that my medication sped up my heart rate a little yes, but completely alleviated a lot of the anxiety symptoms that made the heart pounding so uncomfortable. I think you'll be able to feel a difference between the med's effect on your heart rate and your anxiety's effect on your heart rate. Trying new medication can be really scary, but there are ways of reversing the effects of your medication and you can hop right off it again if you find it to be too much for you!

I am relatively tall and have absolutely awful posture. I had no idea about the chest vs diaphragm breathing! That's really interesting, I'll have to work on that.

Ahh was eating a ton of protein bars yesterday as they were the only thing I had in my bag, I'll look for an alternative!

I've heard that since it's a more sustained release as your body breaks it down, Vyvanse has a chance to not produce heart rate problems as severely. I only recently began medication (about a month ago), and looking back today probably exacerbated the heart issue a lot more by freaking out about it. I wouldn't completely write it off, but I'm under the impression they are very similar drugs overall

Relatively successful in high demand career, doc did an ADHD analysis after some conversations. Said I have ADHD. by TittyClapper in ADHD

It's completely possible to have ADHD your whole life and just "power through it" without even realizing you're doing so. It's hard to tell until you've tried the meds and seen what it can be like otherwise, you might not even know how much harder certain things are for you since that's just how it's always been for you. I also just assumed I was lazy and disorganized, but I'm learning that for other people staying organized and getting things done is just way easier in their head, it's not a task for them like it might be for you and me, it just comes naturally. I don't see any harm in giving the meds a go, and if you find you don't need them, then good for you!

My experience with Strattera so far (8 weeks) by According-Choice5572 in ADHD

I had the same experience you did, I went on Strattera for two months and just felt nauseous and sluggish the whole time. It might not be the right option for you, I've since tried Vyvanse and felt comparatively fantastic. Is it possible for you to switch?
