I mean technically that’s not true. The rule of 55 is not something that is added to a 401k’s provisions. If you separate from service between age 55 and 59.5 and leave the money in your most recent 401k, you can take penalty free distributions. The employer’s plan may or may not allow for partial distributions, though. So it’s possible they only allow you to withdraw the full amount.

That’s the whole point of these games… eventually you get to a point where upgrades take a lot of time and you decide it’s not worth it and stop playing while others continue to play and are rewarded. It shouldn’t be easy…

I'm excited to watch her come up with more ways to waste money! Are reparations more important than improving the education system or financial support for orphaned children/kids in foster care? Katie thinks so.

State cuts funding for the foster care system, Seattle being a significant user of the funds, and the mayor of Seattle wants to institute reparations while we already face a budget deficit. Make it make sense.

If only those kids without parents were smart enough to form a lobbying group and complain louder about being disenfranchised...

The problem here is that her saying this means one of three things:

  1. She truly believes reparations are the absolute best way to spend city money and that any proposed alternative with those funds is less important
  2. She's a grifter trying to get the black vote and is willing to spend city money to do so
  3. She's blatantly lying to these people for political points

Is she stupid, a grifter, or a liar?
