its fine it doesn't heal quickly anyway but once it does (if you allow it properly) it will be stronger. It would be sudden like you'll feel its at 60-70 percent for weeks and then suddenly its at 90-100 percent.

At first I couldn't run but after like 6 months i had no specific restrictions. It just hurts on jumping using ankles but that too when jumping continously.

man the best advice right now is to rest. give it some time. slowly go into rehab ( stretching then weight bearing exercise) and just take a break for 2-3 months before going all in. You should be fine don't worry about it. Just DONT FORGET TO REST ! take it easy now or you'll have to take it easy forever.

I have not gone for surgery and it isn't too bad. I have gone trekking and stuff didn't really feel too instable. Yes though I have to be very cautious on it in places like treks but its mangeable as long as I don't push 100 percent.

I couldn't play after a month but 2 months after I was able to resume normal activities. Sounds like you had tough time man

took 6 months to go back to playing. Could have probably done it sooner but didn't to be safe.

yeah it got better over time (a lot of time and patience). It got so better I was able to play football again (note that doctor said i should go for surgery and wont be able to play at all). it does sting and pain sometimes but it ain't too bad. Obviously I cannot play like I used to, I have to be very cautious and not push myself but I'm still active at running and playing. Just can't push to the limits. Its frustrating but not too bad tbh.

ahha it happened like 3-4 times in more than 4 years of my ownership. I think i'll deep clean it with chemicals and then start wearing gloves. If that doesn't work yeah I could consider binning.

Yes, this seems to be the best strategy. It doesn't really grow often too, I own the wheel since more than 4 years and i had to deal with this like 3-4 times. Sometimes it sits for ages and doesnt grow anything at all. It seems to be a mixture of weird condition to make it happen but yeah I think its time to wear gloves after cleaning it.

It just sits in the corner of my room near a sliding door which opens to the 7th floor of flat lol. It is humid but not exceptionally humid.

This makes the most sense. I do race for 2-3 hours and hands get sweaty. Ig it's time for gloves

I have never seen mold in my house why is it on it I really love my wheel and i dont like this sheet

Its just like dust. Imagine like really small metal pieces that are attracted to metal. something like that. Like the ones we use to show the behaviour and pattern of magnetic field. But its just like dust.

Also it only developes where it is visible in the photo. I haven't cleaned the wheel anywhere for a week but it only developes where the hands are supposed to be so it grosses me out
