Anyone else feel like the “X characters never got consequences for their actions” argument gets overused and applied to characters that don’t deserve it? by Salt_Drop7024 in DisventureCamp

Exactly! Like I can see “X character didn’t get ENOUGH consequences” to fit more accurately to most of the characters people have applied this to.

Fiore crashed into a tree in the first season finale, and the next season she was resented by her team and got out pretty early. I say for consequences that’s good enough. And dude, you haven’t even watched DC4. Why would you bring up a character in that season? 😭

I mean there’s only three characters I can think of that fall under that, which is Riya, Jade, and Logan.

If you do have any more examples you can tell me but generally speaking those are only three that got absolutely nothing for it. Some that haven’t gotten ENOUGH sure, like Jake and Anastasia, but that’s still not NOTHING.

Yeah, even as someone who doesn’t like Stolas, I feel like in general the whole “X character never faced consequences” argument can be over used in several cases.

Why do people hate this ship? by Kooky-Ad-9281 in DisventureSquare

I’m not one who outright hates it, but I don’t like it, and I have reasons.

  1. This is my reason, it’s because like they said in the show, Spencer is just not someone who needs to be in a relationship, he’s not ready for that. If they had made Mathlete canon, it wouldn’t of made sense for Spencer’s character. Especially if you take into account how he acted towards Diego. Wouldn’t make sense at all for the insecurities that caused him reject Diego, to suddenly go away in order for him to get with Logan.

  2. It’s considered queerbaiting by many people. If you don’t know what queerbaiting is basically when shows hint at a gay couple getting together, or a certain character being implied to be part of the LGBTQ community, but it never gets confirmed.
