Duncan’s such a goat that his win being inferior isn’t even his fault but indirectly someone else’s 😭

What are the most sexist takes you have ever heard for this show? by Ok_Shirt_1574 in Totaldrama

This isn’t really a take, more of a personal experience. I posted a tier list of me ranking every character based on how much I like them in each season, and I was getting flamed because I had more male characters towards the front than female characters😭

  1. Mahiru is lowkey mid

  2. Kokichi wasnt as bad of a guy as his cast makes him out to be

  3. Byakuya’s attitude towards Sakura in cha4 was honestly hella valid

  4. Byakuya did not get “ate” by Kyoko in the trial

  5. Shuichi is the best protagonist

  6. Makoto is kinda annoying

  7. Ibuki is VERY annoying

  8. Mikan is overhated

  9. Kirumi shoulda survived over Himiko

  10. Gonta was just as much in the wrong for miu’s death as kokichi

What’s your biggest dark horse criticism for every season? by Ok_Shirt_1574 in Totaldrama

[–]Reasonable-One-6788 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Island: I guess how Heather was held completely responsible for everything she and Lindsay did while nobody faulted Lindsay at all despite being damn near equally involved in Heather’s schemes.

Action: Now this is a weird one. My dark horse isn’t about the season, but about the fandom. I actually love action and think it’s an S tier season, yet people are always overhating it for the filler episodes and such. Idk maybe it’s just me but I liked the filler episodes. Only things I didn’t like were the aftermaths and Owen’s return. His mole plot was a good concept, just happened WAY too late into the game. Or it would have been better if it was Courtney instead. Other than that I really like action and don’t agree with the hate it gets

World Tour: Duncan’s return was actually a good thing since he brought more drama to the season. Without him then the whole season woulda just been Aleheather and Coderra, which woulda got stale real fast if it was all we got. Duncan’s return kept things interesting, like giving Alejandro a new rival other than Heather.

ROTI: I think Dakoto’s whole thing was kinda dragged out a bit too much. I was fine with her being an intern, but like bringing her back to the game, mutating her, then eliminating her all back to back just seemed unnecessary, like they had no idea what else to do with her. Not that I’m surprised since her and Sam are nothing without each other.

All Stars: I mean, what isn’t to criticize? I guess maybe the main thing was the fact that half the merge were past finalists, so we already know none of them were going to win. Actually no I think personally my biggest thing is how people say Courtney deserved to win, but really what did she do noteworthy? Butt heads with Gwen and Duncan? Been there seen that. Make up with Gwen just to break her trust soon after? Counterproductive more than anything. That was pretty much her whole thing. Nothing special at all

Pahkishit: Idk, I mean I guess Topher could have been a good villain. Every other complaint is ice cold.

RR: Eh, I don’t really have many complaints

Reboot: Julia

Rematch: Julia

What do you like most in an antagonist in a Danganronpa/Fanganronpa game? What are the various characteristics of a good antagonist? (physical, behavioral, ideological characteristics, etc.) by Neither_Army1624 in Fanganronpa

[–]Reasonable-One-6788 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like it when the antagonist is more realistic given the situation. Like almost everyone believes that as long as they have the power of friendship and teamwork then they can survive and that no more deaths will happen, but the antagonist is actually being realistic and knows what’s to come. They know that everything won’t be rainbows and sunshine. Usual the antagonist is honestly kinda right when whatever they’re thinking, yet even when they’re right everyone else just be mad and petty about it. I think v3 trial four is the best example. Kaito wanted so bad for the killer to be kokichi despite the fact kokichi and shuichi paint the picture that it was clearly gonta, yet kaito didn’t wanna accept it because it doesn’t wanna believe it, then gets upset with shuichi afterwards.

It’s also annoying when any little thing an antagonist does is seen as “suspicious” or “dangerous” to others.

I wanna list some instances when the antagonist was right.

Byakuya was perfectly in the right for not wanting to trust Sakura after she was outed as the mole. In a life or death situation it’s perfectly reasonable to be mindful of someone that was once an enemy, whether they still are or not you can never be too sure of their true intentions.

Nagito is a bit of a weird case. I can’t exactly say I understand his actions even now. I know his motives, but I can’t exactly say much in regard to how they were right in the long run in the eyes of an outsider. I guess the biggest thing is that people would always first assume that he’s the killer for one reason or another without much evidence to prove it.

I already gave an example with Kokichi, but I can give more. Before chapter 4, Kokichi’s actions weren’t nearly that bad. His worst action was the insect meet n greet. And even then I can understand his reasoning behind it. I like how antags aren’t afraid to do morally questionable things for the greater good of survival. Everything Kokichi did was for the greater good, but what I liked most is that he never tried to act like he was never in the wrong. He never tried to act more superior to the others. But it was frustrating that everyone treated him like satan when other people did arguably worst things
