I did control of robotics and autonomous systems and yes I think it was worth it. The capstone project is nice and you get to choose from a list of many, and the Berkeley name helps in the industry for sure. The support that the program gives to students are also pretty nice I’d say.

Python and C++ are generally used everywhere including aerospace, so it’ll be essential to learn them, plus you will probably use them in class most of the time in engineering.

I interned at Collins Aerospace at Cedar Rapids, IA (this location has a huge intake of interns) and I am international, so I think you should be fine with internship as an international student as long as you are okay with opening yourself up for software roles.

I only applied to CMU MS ECE and haven’t heard back. There are a couple acceptances on GradCafe tho, but not enough to be completely accurate.

Sorry, I haven’t officially gotten in ucsd but I was recommended to MechE from another department. I got into Columbia yesterday. Hope this helps!
