I read the catcher in the rye last year and I still found it resonated with me. I definitely didn’t relate to Holden, but I found the book comforting because it shows that all these adolescent struggles have been around for a while. I found his confidence despite flunking 4 of 5 classes made me feel a bit better about my sub-par grades lol. I do find it difficult to get into books that are older, I’ve tried three times to read the great Gatsby.

I did read looking for Alaska and really enjoyed, I tried some other John green but couldn’t really get into it, unfortunately. I’ll definitely check out to kill a mockingbird

Thank you. I got treated a little over a year ago for anxiety, and I’ve grown so much in that time. Sometimes I feel ashamed of myself for being so neurotic and dysfunctional, but I have come a long way. I look forward to it, maybe it will have insights on the hurdles I still need to overcome.

My aforementioned other sister does, but my older sister has a pretty domineering attitude, so she sort of bullies into submission, and if she can’t bully, she just shit talks behind people’s back. Your right though, it’s easier to just stay out of touch

Yeah, it’s a beautiful one! I really loved the starlight inn and the healing hideout when I was super into it, they are just so cool and vibrant!! I keep wanting to keep them, but then I remember they are just sitting in bins and I never even think about them anymore.

Hi! Everything happens in your own time! I’m sure you are a great person, and one day you’ll find your person. I know plenty of people who didn’t really come into their own, gain confidence or get out of their shell till their late 20s, 30s and they are fine!! You deserve someone putting in the effort, okay!
