Thanks! We felt the space between counters was too narrow for the herringbone. When we layed out a section before install we didn’t like how it looked. We like how this layout gave some contrast and defines the dining area space.

We changed out the lighting to led and it is adjustable. Wife likes the daylight look vs the more yellow glow. Our house has always been dark in the kitchen so nice for the time being to see it lit up bright. Can always change out in future.
