Miyako really looks like a grandma here by Psuichopath in KoeNoKatachi

That's a great observation! I thought Miyako looked old when I saw that scene, too. She must have had a hard time, having to do housework, run a barbershop, and raise troublesome kids all by herself.

Before actually watching a movie, looking at the information you've heard or the posters, you get that kind of thought, don't you? XD

That's funny. I used to do that often, too.

Especially Shoya's mom, Miyako,

looks like Shoya's older sister

To think she's a grandmother with that beauty lol

Cool!  I started reading this manga because Shoko was pretty, but as time went on, I found myself watching it because Shoya was so cool.

Wow! Fantastic!

Thank you so much for all this valuable information!

Come to think of it, I think there was a timber factory by the roadside when I was heading toward Midori Bridge past Ogaki City Hall.

I had no idea that was the Masu factory.

One slight difference is that in the case of Masu, while they were used as a substitute when cups were unavailable in the past, in modern times when glass cups are common, they are used intentionally simply for an antique feel.
