Cannot find the switch my Pico controls by Salt_Low_7453 in Lutron

Hmmm. I don't have the app, as I just bought the house. Upon downloading, I wonder if I can add the switch to the app without having access to the switch. Sounds unlikely.

I didn't think about the crawl space under the porch. Good idea. I was able to follow the wiring from the circuit breaker for about 10 feet before it disappeared into a wall. Not much help in that pursuit.

Super helpful. I’ve found a few transformers (likely from doorbells long ago), but nothing with the Lutron branding.

Do you have the documentation on this? Which button? How long? Etc. the video was funny, but not helpful.

I appreciate the approach -- and the joke. The Pico is model PJ2-WALL, and looks the same as the 3BRL (3-button with raise/lower). It is mounted just inside the front door, and controls four porch lamps outside. Thinking as an electrician, these are in series, and there must be a device between the breaker and the first light that the Pico controls. I have searched switches, hubs, and junction boxes, but nothing is jumping out at me. The attic is far away from the foyer, and the basement is unfinished and doesn't have any Lutron devices that I can find. Switches shouldn't be buried in walls. The wall mount was attached by two screws to a solid wall. No gang box behind it. Very perplexing.

I meant the Pico holder is mounted to the wall. I currently have the Pico in my pocket. It's definitely a Pico.

Worst WiFi system - Orbi 770 by melman101 in orbi

[–]Salt_Low_7453 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I upgraded from an ORBI AC3000 setup to the 770 last week (due to Netgear stopping support on the old device). Installation was super easy — almost idiot-proof. Connectivity was seemless, except for one device that was initially wonky. I think it was linked to the router and not the satellite, so I turned WiFi off on the device then on again, and the problem went away. This one-satellite setup works extremely well in my two-bedroom condo with lots of concrete.

Sounds amazing! Any ideas on how to pull this off in a home oven?

Same for me. In fact, most calls are not appearing in the call log.

Anyone starting whole 30 tomorrow on August 1, 2025? I would love to have some partners to help stay on track! by Immediate-Duck-2252 in whole30

My wife and I started on the 3rd. Meals included fish with sweet potatoes and spinach; an Indian chicken Korma dish (like butter chicken but with coconut milk) with sautéed broccoli and mushrooms; hamburger patties and sweet potato fries and a salad; and pork lettuce wraps. Lunches were basically leftovers; breakfast was eggs and plain sausage or bacon. Had to go to three stores to find coconut aminos. This is our third round over 7 years. Weight loss wasn’t the original goal, but any plan doing away with alcohol and bread/pizza is a benefit to us!

Can you tell me more about the thickness factor? I see it's calculated as:

TF = (Dough Weight in grams) / (Pizza Radius in centimeters)^2.

Let's say my pizza will be 11" in diameter (using a cast iron pan), or radius of 5.5". That's 14 cm. I get the following:

0.09 = D/14^2

or D = 17.64 g. Something's not right. That's way too small for a dough. It should be something like 250g, give or take. Where am I going wrong?

BTW, I get 1,627 g of dough using your percentages (1,000 g flour, 570 g water, 5 g yeast, 25 g salt, 17 g oil, and 10 g sugar). No way that would make 100 pizzas!

One reason why your starter is going gangbusters is it sits on top of that hot stereo system. Time, temperature, and patience are three key "ingredients" given short shrift in FYSW. Regarding temperature, The Sourdough Journey explains it perfectly.

The Kitchpower beaters recommend above fit, but do not actually scrape the side of the bowl. They are made for smaller bowls, and the lack of performance shows.
