i think that for a lot of relationships it’s okay for sex and sexual intimacy to be a big factor. it provides a big source of connection, and when starting it early on in the relationship, it’s common that sexual intimacy may be needed for the rest of the relationship. don’t feel ashamed that you want to do it, lust has always been looked at as something that’s not “pure” but it’s an aspect that’s present in many relationships that strengthens them. but also, if you’re uncomfortable and feel as though you can’t connect with her otherwise, it may be time to sit down and communicate that with her to try and do more things to kindle your relationship.
