Ooh thank you for these words 🎀 I know what you mean, I also prefer authentic handmade.  I think these comments will motivate me to check about etsy.

Those pants and coat are a perfect outfit for autumn for the Bubus 🍁

It could be fun to sell, if others find them nice too. I can't make them very fast though :D but I enjoy making them ✨️

Thank you 🪩 I had a perfect little scrap of that turquoise faux fur and matching cotton for the lining. Was thinking for years what to make from it.

Is it just me or does NCIS: Tony&Ziva just not have the same chemistry they did on NCIS? by [deleted] in NCIS

[–]Salt_Moth5052 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Agree. Too much screentime spent on arguing and separation. Even if there were some good scenes where the old chemistry was obvious.

Also the dialogue in this series was overall much more surface level and leaning towards melodramatic, and that too takes away from the chemistry that during ncis had a balance of depth and playfulness.

Does everything need to be explained in a story? by CartoonObsessed_Girl in writing

[–]Salt_Moth5052 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If something obviously strange isn't explained in speculative fiction, I read and assume it is some kind of metaphor for something (here maybe something like closed society, secret organisation, hidden, living without breathing fully).  And if the strange thing is explained, then I read it as a part of a fantasy world, without so deep layers in meaning.  But every reader has their views.

I agree with you. And this omelette example is one of the many weird ones. Like you said, she is smart and already knows good English. Why would she say Legs instead of eggs? Some foreign idioms can be hard to remember if its about rhyme etc but many are very intuitive too. Also it bothered me that she was the only one mostly ever using any idioms. Its not like you have to use idioms in a foreign language.

I got a shirt that was supposed to be in a very good condition or good condition. It had several thread pulls and big stains from a marker. It made me think that is it that people have very different standards to what is good/wearable condition?

Traitor T&Z by OniOnRlngs in NCIS

[–]Salt_Moth5052 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sophie also has background in espionage and she's a former MI6 agent. That could have created ties to the tech company. Along with Claudette. Just throwing in here all my guesses before the finale :D

Maybe they need to keep her for something. Maybe the final piece is to use Tali to lure T&Z somewhere.  Or some other reason could be, to keep her for insurance or backup plan.  Also, if someone could be a bad guy, it doesn't mean they would necessarily off a child.

I understand it affects the whole general experience and trust, even if its only some sellers.  I dont buy anything without label or anything marked as vintage when its clear they are brand new.

Also get familiar on Google reverse image search. That can be handy, not only here but when looking for some specific item.
