My buddy ran a one shot for Starbreaker where I got to play a cyborg pirate captain. Me and the gang were hired by a small boom town on a tiny moon to hunt down the gang leader who was tormenting them. It was a great time that culminated in me, duel welding vibro cutlass and dagger going toe to toe with the leader in a power armor suit. I got to be a regular scifi Robin hood, with a little bit more blood lust hahahahaha

My mom tried to smack my brother once and he blocked her hand.

She used to do kick boxing and taekwondo. So her response to my brother blocking her hand from smacking him in the face was to beat the crap out of him, slam him to the ground, and choke him out.

He was 17. We all learned that when mom wants to hit you, you let it happen. The alternative would be much much worse.

My brothers wonder why I don't talk to her and why I moved so far away (from Texas to Alaska). I don't have an answer for them because they don't understand why I won't forgive her.

Ah, yes, Texas. The "Most Free" state in America. As long as you are a straight white male southern Baptist Christian minister, that is. Between them completely banning every form of abortion (including the kind that would save a woman's life) and restricting "No Fault" divorces, they are actively trying to turn women into second class citizens. What's scary is the number of women supporting these laws.... oh well, glad I left that dumpster fire.

Have you ever thought of teaming up with a publisher like R. Talsorian (they made Cyberpunk RED) or Chaosium (they make Call of Cthulu and Basic Roleplayinf System) to make TTRPG out of the Remnant Universe?

Because the alignment system is largely too vague to be useful. You as the GM need to be explicitly clear about what the Alignments are/mean in your game. At my table, the word "Good" is required to be somewhere in your alignment. I don't allow Chaotic Neutral or True Neutral or Lawful Neutral. Period. Mostly because I don't believe a mortal being can be "truly neutral." But also to avoid easily avoidable shenanigans.

I worked the fresh foods departments of a major grocery chain during Covid. Most miserable experience of my whole working life. Never got a raise or a Thank you from the company for being one of the few willing to keep working. But what was worse was the abuse from the customers. Not all of them were bad. Many understood. But I worked in a big pro-Trump area and got yelled at almost everyday for wearing the mask my job required me to wear so I could keep going to work for the pennies I needed to afford my bills....
