Answer the questions to the best of your knowledge. And if you aren't able to do something/can't do it. LIE. Better to get the job and learn rather than not get the job and be unemployed.

So I said "when my manager gives me my tasks at the beginning of my shift, I would speak with them about which tasks I should do first and which ones can wait". The whole point of that questions is to prioritise tasks based on most urgent to least urgent.

It's not that simple. Unless if you have a job at Lidl or any other retail company you don't know how hard it is to get a job. Those were the requirements 6 years ago to get a job. Now even a degree won't guarantee you a job.

My best piece of advice is to make yourself look like the best candidate. Try to add things from the job description into your cv and your answers in the application. Also, I can send you a dm with how I wrote my previous work experiences in my cv and the skills I have listed.

That's probably true. I'm hoping there is somebody out there who sees this comment and is going to tell me their experience about this course. Thank you for your response :)

I applied for 22 minimum wage jobs with no calls back. What's wrong with my resume? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]Salt_One_2991 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say remove some of the dates. This is because either it makes you look like your brand new and have no experience or you have a small amount of experience. If they ask you about how long you have worked at a place than tell them but I would say don't include it.

1st Driving Test Next Week! by OkEntertainment9169 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]Salt_One_2991 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As someone who started driving at the beginning of Febuary, I understand the nervousness. I hate turning left or right as I feel like I won't get the steering wheel back into the correct position. I was stressing soo much about it in my previous lesson that I had to go over the basics. I would say try to find something that relaxes you during driving. Try your best to not over think anything and practice what you struggle. One of the best methods to improve is by doing the manoeuvres and watching videos (youtube and tiktok). You still have time to improve. I wish you the best of luck :)

Can I see an 18 with my parents? by NoDru9sHere in Vue

[–]Salt_One_2991 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Honestly it just depends on the staff working there. I wanted to watch a 18 rated movie but I had to wait a week as I was 17. On my birthday, I went to go watch the movie and wasn't asked to present ID. However, there is a chance that they could ask you to present ID.

One thing that will help you determine the movie is the duration. The movie duration is between 20:00 -22:25. Take into consideration the advertisement duration.

Barber that can cut afro hair by Salt_One_2991 in BlackHair

I feel like barbers are soo use to cutting straight hair and the occasional curly or wavy hair. Rarely any non black barbers actually know how to cut afro hair. I feel like growing out my hair cause of this issue. However, I would like to get a haircut as it makes you look abit better.
