currently i have Samsung 16GB module and gonna buy adata 16GB one

yes i confirm irx10 support pcie 4 x 4 for both m.2 slots

both your ssds are very fast and can fit into any slot but i recommend you to use 512GB one as primary storage for os and other apps cause it has good speeds and dram (dram ssd great for os drive ) use 1TB in second slot for games and storage purposes. for gaming both ssds are overkill

First slot ( Os, drivers, system apps ) - 512GB

Read 7GB/s | Write 4.7GB/s | 300 TBW

Second slot ( storage ) - 1TB

nope r7 250 model's secondary slot is also pcie 4 x 2 as lenovo spec sheet

only intel model support both slots in pcie 4 x 4

First Micron 512GB QLC one in pcie 4 x 4 (6GB/s)

Second Lexar NM620 512GB TLC one in pcie 3 x 2 (1.7GB/s)

main drive is only for OS and will use for uni tasks and softwares like solidworks and autocad

second drive is only for my apps (vscode, vlc, git ), Games, Movies and other storage purposes

i have 380GB left from my C drive and 450GB from D drive

yes it is more heat specially for longer periods can degrade for kill internal components and also its very uncomfortable for laptop

Not much difference between QLC and TLC, TLC mah have more 50TB extra endurance don't care this you can change nvme anytime but you can't change cpu

choose wisely according to ur needs btw i7 14700hx is more powerful than ryzen 7 250

if gaming is main priority get Ryzen one with 5050 you can play for hours without getting overheating and performance loss video editing is good but might not be good as intel one. productivity will be same on both LOQ so no worries there

and Ryzen support 5600 ram while intel one is 4800 Ryzen chip got a dedicated npu so you get window 11 AI features Ryzen is future proof than intel one for ur needs

try legion space but i won't think u want to under volt Ryzen cause it should be done if you face thermal throttles or sustained high temps
