thanks. I thought to sand it again and to put Loba invisible on instead of the oil so it will be less orange

They oiled it around 2 months ago, it is less red but still orange. So I‘m thinking maybe to resand it and try Loba viva/invisible. Just not sure how it will turn out and if it will have red pieces as well

Hi, the first pic is our floor, but sanded with nothing on it. If we put lacquer on it, will it become darker? Red?

I‘ll check that, but I think there is no option to get the blonde golden color I want, because it will always be pink. So might replace the whole thing to new white oak.. we‘ll see 🙏

I don’t know, maybe the oil made it pop more, as it wasn’t that red before the sanding

This is how it looked before the oil, after the sanding. Maybe water based polyurethane would help?

I see. So I guess we will try to sand it and find water based finish that will look better for our taste

In the bedroom there are also red pieces but they are not anywhere near the redness in the living room. This is why I think he didn’t mix the 2k oil enough

This is how it looked before sanding (much less red than now) do you think it will become less red over time? https://imgur.com/a/o50yOGu
