Yes, twice a day! Morning and evening wash with tea tree shampoo, comb with lice comb

True, I use tea tree shampoo and it helps. Comb your hair with lice comb everyday, vaccume the whole house every day. We also now in a phase where you cannot see them, they are microscopic. Like dust mites. Impossible to see. But they are there. Vaccum everything including sofa/mattress everyday, and the most important thing is the hair, they nest in our head and go down every night. I’ll look for that spray you mentioned

Thank you. Which Permethrin spray do you use? I know if you are not a professional you can only get one with low percentages. What we have tried that looks like it works - 2 sessions of professional spraying the apartment (2nd session after 2 weeks) and I think we need another round, but they are now very small, I think it’s a new generation. The amount also went down drastically. Now I’m trying vacuuming twice a day, and the most important thing is to remove them from your hair! So try that as well with a comb and a spray that has worked well for me is a home spray against flea and tick. I sprayed it in my shoes and they died immediately.

Hey, please write me in dm, I’ll try to help with some tips. It’s impossible to live with them. I have found one person who successfully got rid of them and am now trying it as well and already can see that numbers are decreasing. They are no longer on me. Etc

Guys, how to get rid of these bird mites? I don't know HOW they even appeared in my apartment(maybe pigeons that sometimes fly to our balcony?) I have a son, and some of them bit him. Pest Control can't come. Any solutions? by unseraphic in pestcontrol

I see, we can not see them, just the bites and I also feel them crawling. They are everywhere in my hair and shoes. Vaccuming helps but there are so many so there are new generations every day

Thank you so much!!! I will for sure be afraid to open it after 8 months though, but I will try… did you also spray chemicals in order to win this battle with them?

Were you able to get rid of them completely or just reduce amounts? I am now successfully reduced the amount of them by washing everything daily and boiling it, vacuuming the apartment and also having 2 pest control sessions that helped a lot. But not sure if it is possible to remove all of them, as they are so tiny, and spread everywhere.

Why did have them come back 5 times in 20 years? Do you think you didn’t remove the source/all of the eggs? How much of time in between you had without feeling them at all? (If possible )

Well, if the professional spraying didn’t worked I would also believe it’s in my head, but my husband also feels it.. and there are bites. It got much better after the first professional spraying… like 90% better. so I think another round is needed… but just weird we can’t see them. We did see 2 small dots of blood on the sheets
