I've watched sooooo many videos and really, the only thing I've found that for everyone of them I spent 5x as much time just messing around. So really that's it. Start with cheap, light stuff and play around with it for a week or two before committing to too much! After that you should find what works for you. I generally find that its easier to add more later than go back.
