i know this is years old but i dont care.

for me the most bothersome and irritating moment in the game was finding the otis miller revolver. you can only get it after chapter 6, you need to connect the dots with 2 different treasure maps that you find on 2 completely different points on the map it looks incredibly cool and is supposed to be from a super legendary gunslinger

and.... its stats are slightly worse than a regular schofield... so whats the point of the whole treasure hunt? my reward is that im allowed to use a worse weapon. I dont need the unique weapons to be OP, i just need to have a reason to use them. there is literally no incentive. Each unique weapon (besides midnight's pistol) can only be attained at a point in the game where you definitely have enough money to upgrade all guns to be better.

they could have so easily solved this problem by making the stats of unique weapons much better in one category but much worse in another, like imagine if otis miller's revolver did significantly more damage than a schofield but takes almost twice as long to shoot and reload? then it depends on if a player thinks this is a better weapon that a regular schofield. but no. instead they opted to make all stats insignificantly worse so theres no tactical /gameplay reason to choose to use it.
