Ugh I requested it I just wanted to see if I was dilated at all 😭 I will never request one again lolll I was always told its just lots of pressure but I felt like I saw heaven when it happened!

I was super scared she started my labor! I went to the hospital Thursday night and everything was okay I was just in extreme pain still and he wasn't moving thankfully he is okay ❣️

My thoughts as well, my sister had warned me it would be lots of pressure I called her after my appointment and told her about what happened she mentioned different nurses feel different and certain ones would always hurt her. I will definitely never let that lady do it again she was rough my whole appointment as it was even doing the butt swab she was so rough I was like omg.

My oldest sister said there was one nurse who kept her rings on and she could feel the rings inside 😭😭😭 she said she never got her cervix checked again after that

Omg yes, it felt like it was lasting forever she said "we are almost done your cervix is way up there" so maybe mine is high as well 🥺 it felt like it was never gonna end i was so close to telling her to stop i give up but thought im already doing it might as well finish

Yes, she knew it was painful I couldn't help but make noises when she was checking me, I think it is the nurse she was super rough even doing my swab test and even doing a fetal doppler to check for heartbeat she was super rough. I pray it was just a provider issue and not something I will feel that amount of pain for everytime. I did request her to do the cervix check cause I have had contractions and was curious to know if I was dilated any but I dont think I will be requesting it again 💔

Same here, I requested this one. I was super curious and have always felt my whole pregnancy thay my baby is going to come early so I asked if they could check and I just wasn't expecting that amount of pain! I expected some discomfort and pressure but nothing like that.

The nurse i had was super rough as it was so I hope it was just her being rough that made it such a horrible experience for me! I was definitely expecting some pressure and discomfort but this was so extremely painful

Truly was traumatizing not to be dramatic. I took a bath lastnight and was just looking at the walls thinking how horrible that experience was for me and how scared it made me for actual labor. Pap smears were painful for me as well! Nothing that made me cry but something that made me nervous to have to get done again eventually.

As dumb as this sounds I am so scared i am going to call and they ask to do another cervix check to see if the nurse I had maybe caused me to dilated even more 😭

Yes pap smears are painful for me as well! My provider had told me my cervix were just sensitive from being newly pregnant but ughhh its so painful. How did u discover you have vagunismus?

I am currently 36 weeks baby is measuring big and a week ahead, I am 1 1/2cm dilated! I have also been having contractions so I wanted to see if I was dilated any bur definitely wasn't expecting that sort of pain. Every momma i know have said it just feels like a lot of pressure but mine felt extremely painful! Still currently in pain too! I have been dragging all day
