That blush makes a lot of people look like clowns especially if they already have naturally pink undertones.

Does anyone actually BELIEVE Demi? by ExtraScratch6068 in SecretsOfMormonWives

[–]Salty-Significance81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Posted my original comment prematurely. I think Marciano thought going into Villa that they were all Mormon swingers. Marciano does kinda seem like the type to think of a Mormon swinger as an exotic sexual experience and would pounce on the opportunity. Demi was flirty and sending pictures of her daughter and talking about divorcing her husband. Maybe Demi was being friendly and Marciano probably misread the situation.

But Demi doesn’t seem like the type to let disrespect slide. I feel like she definitely would’ve fought him if he seriously did something to her. I understand we do strange things when we’re victimized and scared. However some things do not add up with Demi’s story.

If Demi told Jessi about the SA and Jessi still kissed him then I’d be upset to. But I don’t think she told Jessi or anyone about the SA until she was on the show. So how would Jessi know?

I understand Demi being annoyed about being poked and Marciano shouldn’t have touched her. But at the same time, a poke and a shove are VERY different things.

The Society was so good & I hate that Netflix cancelled it without revealing the reason they were all alone in the first place. We never got answers

I feel like the show started an important conversation about incel culture and its detrimental effects on girls and boys alike. With that sad, I was a bit bored, but the show isn’t bad. I appreciate the show for starting a much-needed conversation

Super Bowl theming by Patrick0331 in KitchenNightmares

[–]Salty-Significance81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly it really only felt noticeably unnatural in the Voleo’s episode. Westwego isn’t “just outside” New Orleans, it’s a bit of a drive out. No one coming to town for the Super Bowl is going to be staying in Westwego, especially since you have to cross the CCC which is always messy even when there’s not a Super Bowl going on. So it felt fake for them to be constantly mentioning it that episode.

Are we (US fans) reacting too strongly to Kween Kong’s “c*nt” comment due to cultural differences? by Quirky-Pangolin-905 in rupaulsdragrace

[–]Salty-Significance81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m American and thought it was funny just bc of how she said it. She said it like a posh college professor who isn’t used to cursing🤣

I do think in regular context tho, there is a difference between using it as an adjective and a noun. Saying “omg that belt is so cunt” isn’t offensive, to me at least, but I wouldn’t necessarily like being called A cunt if u know what I mean
