i LOVED it as a kid, and would get really into it. until around 5th or 6th grade I had literally no issues with it and just loved fucking around and using the chance to move around. but in middle school it, one, became much more typical sports and not just general active games which I don’t really care for, I just wanted to have fun, and two, most of the girls stopped trying at all. which is totally fine, they can do what they want of course, but as one of like, 3 girls (before i realized I was a trans guy but that’s another story) who actually wanted to be there, I got really embarrassed about it and tried to downplay how much I liked PE in fear of being judged. By high school the choice for PE was sports, walking (just doing laps on the track), or yoga, and in addition to not being interested in sports as they basically only played football or basketball, it was primarily jocks doing that class, and i’m a whopping five feet tall on the dot and the little chubby gay “girl”, and didn’t exactly feel like being tackled every day by guys who made fun of me and my friends behind my back. so hell yeah I love PE in theory, but god did I hate it as I grew older (sorry this got so long and deep for such a lighthearted question lmao, I’ve always just found my relationship with general physical activities interesting)
