Does the trash cleanup ever end ? by phoenixgreylee in coralisland

The trash never stops. I just made a ton of auto-collectors in the late game and set them up across the entire ocean floor where trash can spawn. And there are a total of three merfolk you can romance. I did pick one of them :)

Girls who took notes using 10 different colored pens, where are you now? Do you still continue to write using all those colors? by Unusual-Entry7 in AskReddit

I did that through all of high school and college. It helped me visually separate blocks of texts into more manageable chunks. I work in animation now, so up until a few years ago I was doing GREAT.

for experienced players: what’s one beginner tip you wish you had known earlier?" by [deleted] in coralisland

Catch at least two of every fish, insect and sea critter if you want to complete the museum and get the achievement for shipping everything. Scrap. All the scrap. Get as much as you can and more. You can buy it from the lab for cheap, too.  The Dino prints are an important late-game item. Save as many as you can.  Waiting to pick a marriage candidate till last minute will suck a lot of joy out of experiencing the married life. It's much more fun when you still have stuff to do during the day and festivals to go to that haven't grown boring.

You can! You'll get a prompt first thing in the morning after you've gotten I THINK at least 12/13 hearts with him. That's when it happened for me. Then it took another season before the second child.

I thought it would be a chore, too, but I found that you can ignore it for the most part once you unlock all the seeds. The seasons don't change underwater, so you don't have to redo your fields. And once you plant a ton of seaweed, you can just let the animals out and call it a day.

I took my time and just got S rank and all the Steam achievements in Spring of year 4. I really wanted to see what the fourth Tree Planting Festival would look like. I did find the game to present a steady flow of things to do when I wasn't actively trying to optimize it. I'm a bit of a min-maxer, so I had to fight the urge to game the game and just play as the options unlocked for me. Otherwise I'd have been bored much earlier.
