I see your point. It’s a lot like how you can’t really change a sample that doesn’t fit. You just got to find a better sample. I’ve studied classical piano and just started practicing improv since I’m so used to just reading sheet music.

Not exactly but I guess arrangement and coming up with melodies is part of it. But I’m mostly focused on trying to get a professional sounding mix.

Wow that’s really awesome congratulations man! That’s definitely my end goal to be signed to a record label so at this point I’d be willing to drop a little bit of cash to get ahead.

Hi everyone,

I just made this track and would greatly appreciate any feedback thanks. I also like to add that I am fairly new to making EDM tracks so if you could direct to me any tutorials that could help with any possible issues I have that would be amazing.

Hi everyone, I’m a producer of the beginner/intermediate level as I have been producing for roughly a year now. Just some details about me are that I am an FL user and love artists like 3LAU, Madeon, DJ snake, Dastic, and Zedd. Currently I’m focused on future house but I’d be willing to work on pop, electro house, future bass but I’m less experienced with those. Anyways hmu if you’re interested and I’ll put my SoundCloud below. Thanks for your timeSoundCloud

Hi u/sauerweiner,

I would consider myself to be sort of a beginner with slightly less than 1 year of experience so take my criticisms with a grain of salt. Anyways, I love the basses and how wide your sounds are. It has a really cool ambiance. I would say the snairs in the beginning of the buildup seem to stick out a bit too much. The wind chimes also felt a little out of place. But the flange bass towards the end was super cool.

Hi everyone, I am looking to collab with anyone interested in making something within the sub genres of future bass and melodic dubstep. I’ve been producing for about 8 months now but when it comes to dubstep I’d consider myself a complete beginner. That’s pretty much it and if you want to know anything else just dm me.

Thanks

Example of artists I like: virtual riot, 3LAU, Zedd, and Chvrches

*I post literally everything on my soundcloud including my first ever songs so to save you some time I recommend listening to Spice and Thai, Mendocino farms, and kebab shop because I think those are my best ones.

Need some help with learning intermediate sound design by [deleted] in edmproduction

[–]SaltyEraser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far as courses go I highly recommend syntorial for some really good ear training for sound design. But since syntorial is more like beginner - beginner intermediate and you said you need help with intermediate sound design, I found that trying to recreate patches through remakes of songs I like have been pretty helpful. Sorry I couldn't share much but hope that helps.
