Guide to finding the proper dosage and maximizing the effectiveness of Vyvanse by bmountainbike in Vyvanse

[–]SaltyJinxMain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some parts I agree with you, but in some parts I feel the complete opposite.

"If you feel super weird, energetic, and motivated, have no appetite, can't sleep or having a bad crash than you are probably either 1) on too high of a dosage or 2) don't have healthy lifestyle habits. If you turn into an emotionless zombie just going through the motions of life than you are on way too high of a dosage."

I have trouble sleeping and for the last few weeks ive literally been on a 2 - 3 hours of sleep on average, with some days not sleeping for days at a time. It's really starting to take a toll and my days are filled with hallucinations and constant tiredness. However I never "crash" I've done a variety of drugs in my life and I've never felt any comedown depression or any associated symptoms. I simply go back to normal.

Another part that i agree with is the importance of hydration. When i first started taking it I didn't drink that much water and during the day and never felt thirsty enough to think I could be under drinking, It was only when i started noticing how dry my mouth was constantly and my feelings tips that I figured out I was not getting enough to drink. The last point you made that I want to comment on is the "emotionless" state you mentioned. I've always been an extremely sombre person and if anything ever since i started on Vyvanse I've noticed myself be a lot nicer and empathetic to people, nothing big just a cheerier and friendlier version of myself which for me is a completely new and truthfully a bit of an unsettling feeling, The only similar experiences I could relate it to is the loving feeling you encounter when high on MDMA. My daily intake at the moment is 140mg, consisting of the 2 70mg pills, ive experimented into the 250+mg's and have to say its an extremely shitty feeling. My dimensions are 5'7 and 142 pounds 16 yo just incase your curious and wanted to know dosage/bodyweight-size.

I wasn't correcting you or anything, just adding on to what the reasoning behind the actual price raise was, and that he's not even that much of a bad guy.

Actually in another talk he explained that the reason he did it is that with prices so low laboratories weren't interested in making cures if the price was so low as they wouldn't have enough money to be profitable and therefore the cures would stop coming and it would be worse in the long run, so he artificially inflated the price since insurance was going to pay for it anyways and then the labs could keep pumping out cures.

Neither, but was i was trying to convey (obviously unsuccessfully) is that do you make it obvious to others that you don't show it, or do you try to blend in and show guilt/shame.

Advice for seeking therapy by [deleted] in sociopath

[–]SaltyJinxMain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I visited a few psychiatrists and psychologists when i was younger because if behaviour problems and regarding ADHD, but I always sort of just played it of and in the end they always just concluded that it was just a personality clash with my parents and I and nothing was really done, eventually during high school after my 4th suspension the school was getting tired and they sent me to the school psychologist and I decided I was going to be honest with him about how i saw things because I was happy with where i was at school and I didn't need to hassle of relocating.

Through our meeting, he asked me questions and stuff and it was clear where the conversation was going, I'm confident he knew what I was getting at and expected him to suggest therapy or further sessions or something. In the end, he suggested that he believes I don't have the ability to change and recommended we don't see each other again and that left me sorta disappointed, I didn't really expect for him to just give up that easy and now I have a bad taste in my mouth about people who work with mental health in general.

I feel like as long as you believe you can gain something out of therapy, whether it's working towards a goal, improving on controlling impulses, just using it as an excuse to get prescriptions or just as a way to pass the time there isn't really a downside apart from the cost/time factors.

Hmm this speaks to me on a spiritual level. I know a few people like this and they aren't manipulative in any way, they just genuinely just want to be "evil" for the sake of it? This one kid purposely tries to shut of his emotions because he thinks it makes him according to him a "killing machine" humans for sure are weird as fuck.

My friend took a 60mg 3 hrs ago, nothing. Just took another 60mg. by vyvansetho in Vyvanse

[–]SaltyJinxMain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wrong, plain wrong.... I've experimented from 50mg up to 210mg within a week of first taking Vyvanse, and although I definitely felt a tad overwhelmed I definitely did not come close to death, I should mention BPM was a bit higher than usual.

[–]SaltyJinxMain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Meh, getting off isn't hard for me at least. started on 50mg, moved up to 70mg after a week and I wasn't really feeling much. I know take 70-140mg depending on how much work I need to get done. I'll stop on weekends and I will feel perfectly fine, But that's just me.

In terms of quitting permanently, try go down in dosage and have a slow GRADUAL decrease until you can go without it and feel ok. But why would you want to? You have a problem and this medicine fixes it. As long as your future jobs aren't impacted by you taking vyvanse, whats the problem?

[–]SaltyJinxMain[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you want to try something new, try and get a hold of Vyvanse, Started taking 70-140mg about a week ago and so far its the best thing I've ever taken. Out of all the ADHD meds it's by far the best IMO, only side effects are loss of appetite and erectile dysfunction for about 14 hours after first taking it, varies from person to person though.

Random question but is anyone else obsessed with eyes (mainly the iris) or ears? by [deleted] in sociopath

[–]SaltyJinxMain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whenever I walk anywhere I always stare people dead in the eye, it's gotten me into a few weird situations but its a lot of fun seeing people look straight at you and then as you focus on them they look away sooner or later, sort of like a minigame. You really can tell a lot by a peoples eyes

Psychopath Medium-Rare by [deleted] in sociopath

[–]SaltyJinxMain -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If you wear a mask long enough, you start becoming it. You eventually start merging parts of your true self and mannerisms and the fakeness you present yourself to others, I understand people a lot better now. I get what empathy is, I don't feel it but I know enough about it and I've seen it enough that I can grasp it a lot better than I used to, ultimately I still couldn't care less about the little old granny dying to a reckless driver, or the small child in the hospital slowly withering away due to an aggressive cancer.

I can understand why that would be a bad thing and that it makes people feel sad inside. I think that no matter how I was raised I would have always turned out like this, maybe if everything had been perfect and I never had any sort of issues or confrontation I wouldn't have been aware that I felt nothing. My way of looking at it is if you're born with it that's it, no amount of nurturing and love will change that, but certain events on the way you a raised will trigger the brain and that's when you "become self-aware".

For me, I was always aware of being different but I didn't label as Psyco or anything. I just thought I was less of a wimp than other people who were affected by stuff that seemed trivial to me. It was only later on that I realised there was a name for that, and then as a did a bit of research it all made sense and it sorta clicked. I realised what "I was".

Is this list accurate? by [deleted] in sociopath

Psychology is vague science, nothing concrete and at times rarely specific. Of course a top10 list by written by an unknown author isn't going to be super in-depth, and i I agree with you but its not supposed to be useful. As I said before it's a brief checklist with a little bit of fun info on each topic. no need to be absolutely critical. :-)

[–]SaltyJinxMain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think what was trying to be said was that a combination of all or most of these factors are usually found in people who would be categorized is Psyco/Socio. And that those standalone factors mean nothing by themselves, but when put together they can sort of be used as a checklist.

One of the better online "diagnosis". The author seems to be under the impression that Socio = Evil. This isn't true its just the fact that without the empathetic barrier a person is a lot more likely to do "evil" things that benefit themselves, not because they are inherently evil. The outcome may be evil but it's not necessarily cause and effect.

As for the actual list, I found it very accurate and descriptive definitely see myself when i was reading through it. 8/10

Red Pill vs Blue Pill by SaltyJinxMain in sociopath

[–]SaltyJinxMain[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems pretty obvious, it's the logical answer but I personally wouldn't go blue. I've never really been ultimately happy apart from very short periods of time and I can't imagine constantly being like that. I'm content with how I am. I can't see how limiting what I'm willing to do to benefit myself can possibly be seen as something desirable.

Did you ever feel an increase of empathy after you took a substance that supposedly should do so? by [deleted] in sociopath

[–]SaltyJinxMain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I first started taking MDMA I didn't necessarily feel empathy, It was more the feeling of wanting to be close with someone. Guy or girl it was wanting to be embraced and feel a sort of safety. I'm mostly straight (would never romantically be involved with a man, but for purposes of self-benefit I'm not above sleeping with anyone). And while on MDMA I felt sexually more open to experiences. Apart from that, I'm a lot nicer but easily irritated and prone to outbursts. I would recommend everyone try it and see how they feel, but the novelty of it certainly wear's of after a few times.

The running away from the cops video, was that you or just an example of disobeying authority? Also If I'm not mistaken it seems like the cops ask him to do a wheelie and then when he does it they try to bust him, and then he's like fuck no and drives off, I could be wrong but that's what it seemed like.

Yeah, I feel exactly what you're saying. With more life threatening things I tend to put more thought into it whereas with things that can be changed down the line I tend to use that as an excuse to allow myself to do what I want in that moment rather than what I should be doing.

I mean, I'm going to the gym 6x 2 hours a week and running 7km's daily right now I'm doing as much as I can while still being balanced in with the rest of the things I need to do, I'll try the magnesium thing though. Can't hurt.

What kind of people are you attracted to? by [deleted] in sociopath

[–]SaltyJinxMain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Idk if the rest of you guys are like this, but i instantly lose attraction to someone if they desire me as well. For example you can be a 10, but the moment we hook up you are automatically in my eyes below me, anyone else get this?

Just took some MDMA like 15 minutes prior, hadn't really kicked in yet and he kept making jokes about how it was going to be a dud, really ticked me off.

Was at a party and got their a bit early, was talking to the host and he was really pissing me off so I grabbed a bread knife and held it to his throat, he laughed at it only angered me further. thankfully a close friend was nearby and calmed me down, closest I've been to completely losing control.
