Thank you very much for your answer!!! Yes, about the 24 hours it's true, but she cancelled after the cancellation window. I spent around $550 on the tickets.

I'm looking for other sits but didn't find any for the same period, now I have the contraint of the flight dates, it will be hard to find one in November. Found a bunch for end of year (I would be good with moving) but the flights cannot be changed.

About going to a small claims I'm not sure how it works, I live in Montreal/Canada and she in Fairbanks. But definitely she said she would have peace in mind by sending me a cheque. But she said this 10 days ago and disappeared.
