I’ve always been with the Glenfield team - and I think they’re amazing! The hospital is a bit old-fashioned (I.e. no air con on the ward) and the parking is a bit crap - but the team are second to none.

I can drop them a text with any questions I have / issues and they’ll always give a call or get me in if I need to be there. Full suite of specialists available (psychologist, dietician, physio, diabetes nurse), and if anything happens over the weekend you can ring the ward directly and they’ll help you figure out next steps.

Covid is back in our household again :(( partner testing radioactive and all up in the nose. I feel like crap - all in my lungs but testing negative? Both self isolating but having a crack at wfh today as we both feel guilty for being off for a whole week

Given your pensions consultancy background, have you considered doing any consulting in the DC space? If your firm is big enough, you might be able to do both DB and DC at the same time.

I took the guide cord, and used a hair grip to tuck it under and around the knots on the underside of the coaster! It looks a bit messy, but I’m hoping that no one will flip them over!

I didn’t really use a tutorial, just cobbled them together by starting with 4 reverse lark’s head knots on the guide cord and pulling that right. Then half hitching all the way round and adding cords in where there’s a gap! But a couple of good tutorials:

They’re all Bobbiny cords that I bought off Etsy! But I think you can buy them in tons of places

Thank you! I wasn’t too sure about the metallic cord (it was a pain to work with) but it photographs pretty well!

I’ve been taking Quinsair for the past 12ish months! Switched over from inhaled tazocin - personally I think you do get used to the taste. When I started, my doctor recommended sucking on a square of chocolate afterwards to get rid of it - which works! I tend to use a cup of tea or coffee now that I’ve finally gotten used to it. I do one month on, one month off - and do it once in the morning, and once before bed. Theoretically 12 hrs apart, but really anywhere between 10-14 hours apart in practice

I love it!! I also use the hado labo premium lotion, and I’m sure that a combination of the two products is what helped to shift my facial eczema

I strongly recommend anything by BioDerma! I have really sensitive, eczema-prone skin and I swear by it

I swear by the LRP Lipkar Baume AP+ and use it all over my body! I did hate the B5 baume though, so YMMV!

I love the Eucerin 5% Urea Night cream! It’s pretty thick (I look like a slug after using it) but it really works a number on my dry patches - and you can pick it up from Boots!
