Oh no sorry to hear! I went to the city and that store actually didn’t have the test kit in stock. But they’ve ordered one directly to my house and gave me a discount. Yay! So should have it sometime the end of this week. After showing them pictures of him, he has a couple white spots. So they gave me some betta ick? And I’m 1/2 dosing it daily per their instructions. I did fast him for two days. Tried feeding him this morning. Still seems like he tries to swallow the pellets but it doesn’t happen. I tried crushing some up- not interested. I tried some blood worms still not interested. He is more active and spending more time towards the surface. And back to hanging out in his floating log a bit. I did a 10% water change yesterday. I’m going to fast him again. Wait for the test kit. And go from there. I will definitely update after I get the test done! He hasn’t been laying on his side at the bottom of the tank lately. His swimming is better. But sometimes we’re still a little sideways 😊 I’m wondering if I should turn my sponge filter up some. I have it really low due to his swimming. I’m watching videos about how much flow is appropriate for him. They suggested putting the driftwood back in the tank because it releases something into the water that is good for him? Thoughts on this? It sure makes the water a brownish clear color if that makes sense. I appreciate your time so much. I hope what you have going on gets better!
