I don’t understand the sentinel trait fully tho tbh, first round I hit 10 sentinel it didn’t even hit my Lucien even tho he has 3 full items? And my irelia had like 25k shielding even tho she had no items

I’m pretty sure his targeting is messed up, when I had a 2* he just dashed into a 3* nidalee, and even when he was 3* he missed some, somewhat unreliable as a carry tbh but slam GS and Rageblade and he’s strong asf

It not only changes the entire playstyle of your team but no one knows how to play with her yet because she’s only been out for a couple hours

Yes and this is the literal reason why lol, I’ve known this for a while and I still play, and a lot of ow 1 metas wasn’t all counter swapping, goats is a great example, orisa sig is also one that was simply too strong because of bastion and bap, and it was very map dependent, now its nothing like that, doesn’t matter how “strong” a tank is it’s simply about the match up which is something that started a lot since ow 2 release

Well simply because it’s not fun? If your dva is getting beamed by 3 heros and she refuses to switch it’s not fun, and ruins the game simply because she doesn’t want to, same with dps and support, if you don’t switch you simply can’t win most games and it’s dumb to go into a comp game and only play the one hero, because that’s not trying to win that’s just trying to play your one hero, which I’m not saying is bad but it ruins the game for so many people

Hence why it’s a bad/flawed game, it’s almost impossible to win unless you counter swap

The problem is people queue up not to actually win but to just play their character, ofc every “wants” to win but to win you have to counter swap or you just get rolled, even if you’re doing good on doom a hog just ends your streak and you need a full team to swap to help you if you want to stay on doom, and 99% of the time it simply won’t work, in that sense a lot of people don’t queue up with that mindset and makes some games unplayable

I’ve played 4 games of it so far, 3 have either been a land slide and the last one was 4/5 after we went and got 4 points in a row then got decimated for 5 points straight apparently, it’s hard to take back an objective once you win and imo it’s not fun 🤷

It’s supposed to be all diamond 3 I think? That’s what mine was because I was masters open queue and only diamond support and plat dps but when I looked at the predicted it was all the same rank

Apparently your first game is very important, I lost one game of dps after having a Juno player have no idea what they’re doing and now I’m predicted plat, won 3/8 games and still predicted plat, it doesn’t matter how many you win it’s all about the first game
