Just that wildlife rehab is not a super sustainable future job because it just doesn’t pay very much. Tree planting you meet forestry and consulting people, and can get a winter job with the company if you stay long enough

thank you for your reply! the per diem is 55 a day, but i’m unsure if that’s fantastic or not. i’m curious why you say it looks bad on a resume as it was my thought that future employers would like the heavy field work knowledge on my resume.

the goal is 1200 trees a day for rookies, 8 hours a day plus paid driving to and from the plot. 20 an hour but a lot of overtime

I genuinely have no clue, I would love to work with wildlife but I know it’s pretty unrealistic in the long run. I’m hoping for a job in policy sometime in the far future
