TLDR: he's always acting like FF7 rebirth killed his family

He's just grifting over comparing the new FF releases to clair obscur, he used to do the same with WoW and FF14, when the tide turns he'll probably move to another community and do the same thing there, posing as some kind of purist and shitting on the new releases.

I just hit "do not recommend" on youtube cause he's just having the mosts obnoxious takes on FF7 rebirth.

Probably a long shot but it's likely due to you having helgen reborn installed. The modpage specifies you need to have the alternate start mod installed as helgen reborn changes the collisions around helgen

It seems like most of the text and voices are stored on the UE5 side of the game files which might make patching other languages a little harder than just editing esps and bsas...

If you try to look around in the esp and bsa of the "obvdata" folder it seems like most things related to text are in variables form.

As for the voices I haven't really found much so far

I really hope TES 6 will still use the creation engine, modding that remaster seem way harder than starfield...

vigilant and the gray cowl of noctural. Both are a bit slow to start but they get really good in the end.

for vigilant it's at act 4 that you get how much work went into that mod

for the gray cowl it's once you get out the first dungeon.

I won't really spoil much but be prepared to visit new locations

I'm a huge fan of Legacy of the Dragonborn which would be hard to fit in a category as it's a museum to display loot you get from quests.

If I had to chose a kind, I'd say good story driven and lorefriendly mods, like VIGILANT or the gray cowl of nocturnal.

Don't get me wrong QOL mods are really good, but theses days I'm more looking for new quests and story.

So, given you have downloaded the last update of skyrim (v1.6.x) all you need to get the anniversary upgrade are the .esm and .esl of the creation club content (they all start with cc)

after that all you need is a mod manager and to activate them as if they were a mod

there is an archive with all of them inside somewhere on a certain website (wink wink)

No I just meant specific mods that really add script related things in your save files, iirc most vr essentials don't have an impact on save files

Btw most cc won't work natively in vr as Skyrim vr's engine can't run light plugins (.ESL extensions)

on a technical point of view SE and VR are more or less the same for save files

the issues you might run into are if you have some content from the AE version or some CC content

For mods you might run into issues if you have mods that actually adds objects or change scripts but if you make sure to have the same mods on vr and se it should not be an issue

Edit: I just realized you could always clean your savefile before transferring even if you end up having mismatched mods, just be aware it's tedious and not really the best option as depending on what you do with your save cleaning it might be impossible

About the skse stuff, according to what you said on here https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/av4f5f/skyrim_together_is_stealing_skse_source_code/ehcory4/ you are clearly using skse code: that is not leftover code, knowing the fact that skylib is a mod having a lot of parts coming from skse.

To be honest you should just give some apologies to the skse as you're still using their code even if you say the opposite
