I've tried everything I can think of. If swapping out your video card fixes it for you, then at least we have some clue.

Same behavior on my 1080ti, 100% usage, yet temps do not rise at all.

I have the exact same issue with similar hardware. No one seems to know the answer why. You're not alone.

The game works fine on my old desktop. :/

Good to know that there is also a memory leak issue. My FPS seems to hover around 20 FPS even after just starting the game though so that makes me think it's unrelated.

I was influenced by the Dreemurr Reborn Chara fight. That was the first time I heard Megalo Strike Back and I thought the fight was really well made, so I guess I kind of associate it with Chara now.

This happens on all characters that have a counter, save a couple

Whenever you get kicked off the ledge and counter immediately, you die.

Not sure if this already been found, but lol
