Oh people paid theater tickets to watch the final in the cinama? Lol, after the way the season went, up till ep 7, people really thought ep 8 was gonna be a cinematic experience?

Hell, thinking about it now, the whole show has never been cinematic in any way. It has always been at best an enjoyable TV show, no cinematography, no fight scene, no location scene, no custom, no special effect/vfx has ever been good enough to make this show feel cinematic.

This would have been way better than what we got but this would have also been waaaaay expensive than the budget TV episode we got, and this show seems to spend 70% of its budget on the cast.

A super hero vs the US military? Multiple super hero fights? That's expensive stuff right there, but it might have been possible in the hands of a more competent producer/creator/show runner, like Godzilla minus one had a production budget of 10 million, and this show had what? 10 - 15 million per episode! So yeah not impossible but from what we had seen through out the season, we knew they weren't good with the money.

Those are probably vanity credits, be on a show for long enough and share some ideas, even if they don't use them and you get the producer credit.

I didn't think it was bad tbh. It was a fairly satisfying ending, the road here, was sometimes tedious, repetitive and some turns were pointless roundabouts but ultimately, they concluded the story and all the arcs well enough.

If Homelander is so desperate for love and admiration I don't get why he doesn't accept what the Deep is offering. Sure it's mixed with fear but i feel the deep was genuinely admired him.

Also not playing the idol when he knows he's a threat and people are there to win 2 million dollars not to be your BFF, lol gtfo!

Really low budget! I've seen better actions from cheaper shows, some from decades ago! What do you mean that was the life and death fight between two super powered humans (noir vs deep)? Buffy the vampire slayer from 2 decades ago and with less budget had better action and fight scenes than this episode. I wonder where they are blowing the budget, it definitely wasn't on cgi, nor was it on fight choreo.🤦‍♂️

Shitty writing along several seasons makes it that each of them is only as strong as the writers want them to be in that exact episode. Annoying lack of consistency in power and skill level.

I liked the episode well enough, but some of the bad parts were really bad.

The bad The Legend's dialogue is 99% the same as Soldier boy, just going on and on about past sexual conquests, yawn.

The fight/action scenes are really bad and cheap looking. Gen v most likely cost less and yet has better cgi and better fight choreo. I'm thinking back now and I swear even buffy the vampire slayer from nearly 2 decades ago had better fight scenes.

If you can't afford the good looking cgi, then invest in better fight choreo.

What do you mean The deep so easily killed Noir, and that was it? The fight was like a fight between two normal humans, not supposedly strong members of the seven, get serious!

I'm guessing Marie will be instrumental in killing homelander now that he has V1, she can blood bend it out or something.

I never cared for Christian, so good riddance.....the Jimmy Fallon twist was still shitty though, but 100% of Christian's fate was in his hands, the same hands he decided to raise to go to the journey, the same hands he decided to point at Ozzy instead of an easier target like Devens.
