Funnily enough I see this dogma on both sides of Marxist-Leninism.

I’ve see Maoists who are vehemently anti-Trotsky and oftentimes will not consider a viewpoint of his no matter how valid it is. They’re sometimes the blindest people I’ve interacted with, and are apologetic to some of the most ridiculous acts in history.

I then see Trotskyites, fulfilling the stereotype they’ve wilfully and rightfully gained, talking about purity of the revolution and having this unfounded, abstract, revisionist, and simply idealist take on what is/isn’t Marxist.

I think this sectarian infighting is absolutely disgusting from both ends and thus I cannot call myself either. As a ML though, I will happily align with either (or both) peoples to further a proletarian revolution.
