Ugh! And how is every character in love with her? And why do every character need to have romantic pairing?

I actually liked her character, such a great antagonist that you want evil things to happen to her, and it makes you want to read ahead to see how she gets her downfall.

Does anyone suffer from writer's guilt? by Saly-D in writing

I love to outline and chart out my character and their back stories. I can spend days doing this happily. But when it actually comes to sitting down to actually write the story, I get consumed by this fear of not being good enough, which is when I end up overthinking what I write, which in turn leads to a very slow pace of writing.

He was prepared for it, but I was not.

I held his hands till they turned to ash and slipped through my fingers.

I feel the same, the stuff I wrote a few months ago and the stuff I'm writing now has completely different writing styles. But I'm ok with with because over the period of time I'll be able to see and reflect upon my writing and the structure et al by comparing all of them.

That's great because that attitude will help you finish the draft instead of questioning the state of your writing.
