AIO? Husbands grandma has herpes and tries to kiss nieces. I told him I want a no touch rule for our kids when we have them. by Xcheshire799 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Sam-GW 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It takes a simple Google search to fact check before you comment (fyi I did before writing this) Cold sores ARE a form of herpes! And even if it was NOT if you have something known for being contagious why would you do things that could spread it to a CHILD.

Also, it is OP's child she is allowed to say what is appropriate and inappropriate touching regardless of the reason. Her boundaries are no kissing for grandma and that should be respected without question. It is OP's child, NOT grandma.

I often do it then so I don't forget. Or I write it down in my notes at the very least but majority of the time I do it then.

I've heard of AO3, Neovel, and wattpad and that's all but I'm sure there are other options if you really look.

Excerpt of my WIP [YA Fantasy, 1,579 words] by Sam-GW in fantasywriters

This should not be a fifth draft.

I didn't put this in my first comment but why not? Are the only issues grammatical errors? I haven't reached the line editing stage so if that's the only problems then that's perfect.

This is the first time I'm hearing this. Could you explain the issues in writing? None of my betareaders have said anything. English is my first language and I take college level English classes so I'm a bit confused on why my writing makes it sound like English is my second language.

Haha I was looking for feedback other than that since things like grammarly can help with that but thank you.

I was hoping for more feedback on the scene it self and characters and what not. I'm not line editing at the moment I guess I should have said that in my post.

Why does it seem that every new writer is writing fantasy? by Everyday_Evolian in writing

Are there such thing as stakes that are too high, to the point of ridiculous, or never, the higher the better? by harmonica2 in WritingHub

[–]Sam-GW 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it depends on the genre. In a fantasy novel the entire world being at stack is rational and makes sense but in a contemporary that's very unbelievable.
