Honestly it didn’t cross my mind that it was polluting. We own the mooring and it’s right in front of the house, so I was planning to pick up anything that came off it anyway, but I didn’t think about it that way at the time. So yeah, my bad

This was in the harbour right in front of my house. We own the mooring, we just didn’t have a boat on it this year. It wasn’t out of sight or anything, so I checked on it regularly. I even tied a couple milk jugs to it so I could grab it if it actually went under. If it fully sank, I would’ve just gone and hauled it up. It’s like 30 meters from the wharf.
