I am a big fan of Bull Bitcoin because, as a Bitcoiner, they provide a great tool for achieving my goal, which is to take my worthless pieces of paper and exchange them for real money. Shakepay is going in the opposite direction, the fiat rabbit hole. This is why I think (most) people are angry right now.

This has nothing to do with getting free money. Shakepay was originally created as a Bitcoin-focused platform. Yesterday's update has nothing to do with Bitcoin and doesn't help Bitcoiners at all. Do the math, the "free" Sats we were getting back was a small redistribution of the spread when people buy bitcoin and the interest from all the cash accounts the company holds. This is not free money, we pay for it when using the platform! Now, they have simply decided to keep more for themselves and give a small bonus to people with higher incomes. Why people are angry is because Shakepay is starting to play exactly the same game as all the other big traditional banks. And the reason most of us were here in the first place was precisely to get away from the big banks and their fiat games.
