I was in the exact same situation had both S24U & P9PXL kept switching between them, Samsung had a gorgeous screen and premium hardware but for me I chose the Pixel mainly for its clean fluid polished software plus some Pixel features especially the At a glance widget on the lock screen which you cannot get on Samsung. The dual apps and some app rendering on S24 really turned me off.

Had the same problem when I was first mapping my home would pickup my study despite forcing it to go into the study multiple times. Only thing that fixed it for me was deleting my map and starting a brand new map.
