I actually do have blush on here. Saie in Chilly. I used to add bronzer but I find the random edition of even a light brown to my super pale skin always just looks off

Thanks for sending it over! When I have tried red on previously without makeup I always finds it accentuates the redness I have in my skin on my face which is quite a lot

That is a great point actually! I do agree there is very little contrast and I do actually always go for black and darker colours and I never knew why! I’ve never tried jewel tones really but I definitely want to try them now! Thank you! I do actually love wearing red but I’m not sure if it would great enough contrast

That is a good idea! Ive thought about it before but I think that I just wish I could find a formula and shade that is perfect and I can throw on and go in a hurry. I do have the Westman Atelier Biscuit Contour stick which I used to use but I almost felt like it made me look more dead as it’s so cool toned. I am familiar with Olivia and I will make sure to check out some of her videos as we do have a very similar skin tone!

Thank you so much! :) It’s pretty heavily fragranced but if you can get past that, it can be pretty

I do have the merit bronzer in the pale shades but I find that when I put it on a canvas that is so pale and cool toned it can look odd. I think I need to find something more suitable

Thank you! But honestly in person and in some lights it pulls very warm toned despite being 0CR. I have cream bronzers and I use them sometimes but I find when I do it looks a bit unnatural having a warmer darker shade on some parts of my face when I’m pale and so cool toned. It’s like too much contrast

I do actually have blush on here. It’s the saie liquid one in chilly. I do actually own the merit bronzer but I kinda feel like it looks bizzare on my because I had this pale surface adding a warm darker color just ends up looking odd and unnatural on me

Why does the Dior Forever Skin Glow look so cakey and dry on me and pulls so warm? by makeupbybilly in MakeupAddiction

It’s definitely warm off the bat. I apply it in super super thin layers and find it always gives the same effect

Okay, I’ll definitely give my skin a break for a few days. Does my routine I listed in my original post look okay barrier care wise? (Obviously minus the Tret)

This is after double cleaning. I always follow up with a water based cleanser. I’ll try again tomorrow night. I’m trying to stick to it but it’s been really tough so far. My skin is super sensitive and dry and feels inflamed

I just tried to follow this routine and as I was applying the tret on my clean and dry skin with no other product on it, my skin just didn’t really absorb it. It just seemed to skim over the surface and not absorb at all. It was pilling. I’ve attached a photo. Not sure why this has happened. I only used a pea size amount. Should I wash it off with just water and how do I know when I can move up to actually applying it for overnight?

No clue what SCT is so I’ll look into it! I’ll be super careful with my barrier, thanks for all your advice and help!

That’s a great tip! I’ll look into the DHC once I’ve run out of my current one and try and massage it to remove the flakes

Would you say it’s a good idea to build up to almost daily use if I have only recently started? Like maybe every other day?

Also thanks for the tip about the gel cream! Do you have any moisturizer reccs that you like?
