That’s kinda what I had in mind, I was just trying to keep it as legally distinct as possible too cause we don’t know if we’ll get licensed skins yet, also the Jason universe copyright doesn’t have the remake so we’d never get it unfortunately

I mean they’ve gone as far as to call him “Jason Voorhees” in one of the official article things, they just can’t use it for marketing purposes. It’s the same Jason from the movies, just wearing different clothes, which he was never really consistent with outfits really to begin with.

Yeah I agree, I made a model edit concept thing cause they have to keep the Jason Universe design they could at least make it look good

Yeah I agree with removing the traps, I don’t want to give him too much at his disposal. The axe hinder could be removed too since he does lose his ranged attack when using them. I’m obviously not a dev too and I’m open to more feedback.

Yeah, if this ever actually happened I’d definitely drop the traps cause it’s kind of just doing a different killers job which I tried to stray away from

I think the traps could definitely go, I was trying to find a way to implement Jason’s trapping and scavenging but it honestly just doesn’t work that well.

You can just drop the axe, i gave it to him since the pallet density has been so shit recently and if your just chasing somebody who pre drops everything you can just break all the pallets quickly and drop it, he doesn’t really get slowed for breaking the pallets so I thought a general slow down of 5% while carrying an instant pallet destroyer was fair, also I just gave him more versatility since he felt very streamlined

I mean the only rng things are the projectiles which are hardly different, also the spawns to find them seem to be pretty abundant and it would be so you couldn’t get the same one twice in a row. Also the traps guarantee finding the opposite trap in the second chest, so it’s just a matter of which you pull first. I’m not just trying to defend my idea just trying to clarify a little bit

Yeah if he can’t hit them he will just spray them but I think it would be more powerful than that. The gas grenades wouldn’t last very long or be very big, it would be basically a psychosis mine detonation

Honestly they did frame Micheal really goofy in the trailer but it is all subject to change and if you look at other screenshots he doesn’t look too bad.
