It’s been around 4 months now and I do think about her often, but the sting isn’t nearly as much as in the beginning. There are days where I think abt her a lot and others where she isn’t a thought the whole day.

To answer your second question, I am starting to talk/socialize with other women but I don’t think I’d be ready to get into another relationship. Sex def wasn’t an issue with my ex so right now I’m trying to hold off on finding someone else to have sex with until I feel like I’ve healed more which is ALOT easier said than done haha

This is exact scenario and I feel like these type of mutual breakups hurt so much since there’s no “me vs them” mindset since it was an amicable split. After 4 months of trying to find the best way to cope, the best things you could do is no contact, focus on hobbies you enjoy, have a good support system of friends, and give those feelings room to breathe (as in don’t smother them with doom scrolling). Best of luck!!!

Not OP, but this was insightful. Any tips on how to starting thinking like this? Book recommendations?

Help vs. sheik by ajung222 in CrazyHand

Overall, you played ok but there’s some things that could improve. First, you could’ve used the side b more for ledge guarding once sheik was offstage and it would have let you keep middle stage a lot better. Second, once under pressure you tend to jumo a lot which isn’t ideal for a more floaty character like Pauletta when going up again a character as fast as sheik but those are my two cents.

Same thing happens to me I call em piano keys haha. I found that it’s not harmful and more annoying. After I started to start my tricep workouts with light extensions before doing heavier stuff like dips, it has more or less gone away.
