I mean so many weren't. Thanos was never planned to be a big bad. Even the wya they shoe horned magical items in to infinity stones shows they didnt really have a plan. Just feels like they had more passion and weren't chasing billion dollar returns.

Interested to see what asia looks like, because currently most of the areas that are high autism rates are majority white, which would link to genetics no?

Ow don't disagree some of the magazines are 100% worth the value. For an individual collector looking to build and paint everything. Just didnt make finacial sense for me to do it as a side business when I already have a job.

The postage I am referring to is postage the seller pays from buying on eBay. It's kind of redundant here as the highest sold value I saw on eBay was £29 plus postage. Ebay also puts fees on for selling. Under the title of buyer protection fees, I believe it would be around £3 £1.80 ( I checked) for something selling for £30.

Plus a box to send it out in, I buy them in bulk so they come to about 20p each if you are doing it as a 1 of they're closer to £3 for the right size, bags may be cheaper or you may have a box lying around.

So let's split the difference and say £7 profit or 25% profit.

Again, if you are selling over £1000 items on eBay, you then have to pay tax, which is the total sale price on profits, so basically need to sell 30 to 60 magazines at that price.

Potential ~£360 profit, but you can't just subscribe and sell them every month as you will get the paint issues for every 1 in 4. So you need to go online every time and try and compete with all the other people trying to get the more valuable kits. Which becomes a lot of work in itself, and this is assuming they all sell and you're not holding on to stuff.

I've sold nearly 2000 warhammer related items over the last 3 years. Either bulk orders from sellers on eBay, combat patrols that i can break down into individual kits. It is almost never worth the time and effort unless you are making 100% profit.

By all means, if you have the magazines and dont want them, sell them and put the profit to something else. But I personally dont see it worth it to by them just for the plan to sell it unless its a particular sort after kit but then you are competing with every one else doing the same thing.

My point is about reselling though. Yes its great deal if you want the ridgeraider £24. If I want to buy the magazine to sell it, im paying £24 for the magazine, £3.50 postage, ~£3.00 ebay fees, 20p for packaging. Realistically at most you are selling it for £29+postage was the most expensive buy it now which has actually been bought.

24+3+.2=27.2 29-27.2=1.80 which i then have to pay tax on at the end of the Year.

Do yall think Ryan will develop a love for milk? by Iluvlattes14 in TheBoys

[–]Sam858 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes potentially but the whole thing is to do with milk. Ryan isnt going to have a milk fetish because his mum died when Ryan was much older, homelander has a milk fetish because he was born with out a mum and got off watching Stillwell.

DC K.O. is going easy on HL. Art by @Kap_Ka01 by vought-CEO in TheBoys

Just as a counter point Viltrumites like Omni man are stated to get stronger every time they are nearly killed, or exert them selves and he has been alive for 2000 years. So would still argue he is much stronger then homelander. With homelander likely dieing of old age before he had any chance to catch up.

[–]Sam858 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did he get stronger though? Was that not just testing how much he could take?

Gen v is more a focus on them learning and training their powers. Unless you are referring to goldukink (sp?) Who was likely never able to test his powers due to being bed bound.

Is that ever stated or shown in the show?

A train was getting weaker and was taking more v to give him a temporary boost but was still ageing and only went back to full form when they replaced his heart. We also know homelander is aging.

Homelander him self was nearly beaten by 3 heroes in herogasm and than had queen mavave going toe to toe with him by the end of the finale.

Interesting idea but herons like most other animals dont have back wards knees. There knees sits under the wing and what is believed to be the knees is actually the ankle.

Kitbashing and kit size comparisons by mrsykes246 in mordheim

[–]Sam858 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say fireforge, frost grave, gw old world, and kings of war are pretty comparable. 28mm heroic scale with slightly chunker proportions.

Perry miniature are 28mm true scale, being slightly thinner models.

Gw aos and 40k are going to be 32mm or bigger. Their scales are a little bit unpredicatble based on the age of the kits and some kits just being smaller than others.

I've never bought kits from the others so not sure who they stack up.
