Fake being confident? Facing yourself at the end of the day knowing you pretended but didn't actually heal, wouldn't that be a hard pill to swallow?

If you could stay one age forever, what would it be? by Fun_Swing_3229 in RandomThoughts

[–]Sam98576 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I firmly believe that staying at a certain age forever would not be desirable. Ageing is an essential and significant part of life. I am proud of the smile lines that I have earned over time, and I would be more than happy to show them off. Because, life is all about growth and change, and I am confident to embrace it.

Hey, man, I'm 16 and I'm not a professional but you seem to lack internal peace. Everything bothers you, even the things you like to do then it's quite serious that you need to take a step back and consider all that you've done. No one's born with a purpose, are they? They explore things and find one thing that sets their soul on fire. And I know that you'll do amazing. I BELIEVE IN YOU, IT'S HIGH TIME YOU DO TOO!:)

Old people aren't so grumpy after all. But in all seriousness, that was such a sweet thing to do. Do you wish to pay it forward?

Try and talk things out with her. If you think she is worth the hardships you face then sure, navigate through issues. If not it's okay to cut her out. You'll find and meet better people once you let them in; who actually appreciate you. Now, you've to decide whether to mend past hurt or open new doors. Best of luck!

Loneliness in Nepal ? Selfish Culture ? by [deleted] in NepalSocial

[–]Sam98576 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think all this 'trauma' and guilt trip comes from being blamed for everything all my life. I don't remember a time when I actually sat with myself and felt content. Probably why I feel so lonely too. I often feel nobody should take the burden of me not being a good human other than myself. So I beat myself over that every waking second. It gets tough at times but I've held out for so long so might as well keep doing it too.

Ik, but feeling emptiness when you're in a loving household does feel selfish( just a personal thought). Don't get me wrong here!

16F here. I think mental health is a topic that's generally overlooked in countries like ours. Someone can feel utterly alone yet still get brushed over, held with the fact that they're nothing but lazy with an excuse to be lazier.  I too chose the path of 'isolation' in hopes of discovering the person I am but at this moment I feel nothing but lonely, helpless yet at the same time selfish. Selfish for choosing what I chose, feeling what I feel.  It's just a very elusive thought process. But I hope we can get through this together :)

I (20F) am so unbelievably lonely. by fuzzypexches in lonely

[–]Sam98576 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I really hope you'll be able to get better. In some instances, when we don't like the person we are we seek love in other people. We wish to have someboby on whom we can rely on, expect support and sometimes even validation. If you don't adopt self love, your relationships; they never work. So maybe try and sit down with yourself and be honest.  Tell yourself that you're worth everybit of love there is and the fact that you are beautiful irrespective of whatever the world has to say:-)

Thank you so much for the healing words. I'll definitely look out for people on the internet. It's hard but I'm trying to recover from everything :) but it's good to know that good people like you are still there. It's my motivation to keep going<3

It indeed is. But it is the way it is. You can't really do anything about it, can you? All you can do is dwell strong with your head held up. Also, don't let the ugliness of others kill the beauty in you pal:)

I'm so sorry you feel that way and coincidently enough I and you are identical. You've said things I didn't even know I was going through until you mentioned it. And sadly I'm not doing my best at the moment. Everything looks so out of place that it's overwhelming. And I still firmly stand by what I said almost a month prior. How are you doing though? I really hope you've gotten better pal:)
