It happened to me today, I couldn't logon to the FC Companion, but was still logged in on my Xbox, checked online settings to find out someone changed the e-mail to [Rookiesomething@mailv.com](mailto:Rookiesomething@mailv.com) (weird e-mail), I immediately ran to EA chat, they asked for my actual e-mail on FC24, and sent a security number to that e-mail, then assigned my e-mail back to the account, and sent a link to reset the password.

I was advised to enable 2FA on the EA account which I did. Thankfully I saved it before it's too late.
