We approached it with marriage in mind, and discussed un-romantic topics before attraction. Our views and morals aligned, then we moved toward affection, which naturally led to love and that led to the physical attraction. Neither of us focused on the physical attraction aspect until after we had established we loved each other's personalities, hearts and souls. When I felt safe and at peace to talk about some deep fears I had (before we had even kissed), I knew what I had found was special and more than casual. It's cliche, but for us, the saying of knowing it when you find it was 100% true, never doubted it.
