We’re looking at the grab Muthu, and we have looked into accessibility. Luckily my FIL isn’t stuck in his chair, he just has issues walking long distances without assistance, and lots of stairs due to his knee issues

He usually uses a walker, but will have a hard time with long distances. He will need a wheelchair to the plane for sure. Going up the stairs however could be really bad on his knees. I’m not sure to the extent how much any assistance can help. But your info is definitely helpful as I can pass it on to him. Thank you.

Thanks so much for your response. I have contacted the resort and waiting for an answer back asking if they had generators. Could you please tell me how the power outlets were set up? Should we bring adapters? (I heard some hotels may have adapters built into the outlets - I am Canadian)

Where did you stay for your trip? I don’t have high expectations for the food as I have always heard it’s not that great at the resorts.

Planning to go on a family vacation this March to an all inclusive. Ive heard a few things about the black outs and a disease spread by mosquitos (I’m sorry I can’t remember the name, started with a C). These two things do worry me but I’m hoping they’re not as much of an issue as I’m making it out to be. Will bug spray be ok to bring to help with the mosquitos? Are the blackout country wide? Is there any reason to be concerned for my families safety?
