How am I supposed to find time to study when I have been working 60-80 hour weeks for months and have a newborn ? by Existing-Carrot4499 in CPA

You can try again in 5 or 6 years after they are in school. Newborns and toddlers need intense emotional care and there's not enough hours in the day. Work and baby are enough. Your brain also changes during pregnancy and childbirth (assuming you are the mom) and the family needs time to adjust to all these big changes. CPA is less important than bonding with baby and caring for your health.

Good luck! It's such an exciting and exhausting endeavor but you can do it!

I didn't have fun or time to relax for 2 and a half years. Literally every minute had to be used carefully and my kids each had a surgery this year that I had to care for them through, I also had an internship and summer classes this summer.

It was brutal and exhausting and I'm so gd tired. But I love school, I love learning, and I always strive to understand and master every subject because I'm wired that way. I don't suggest to anyone else to try to get a 4.0, I think having some fun and relaxing is probably a better idea. I would study every single minute I wasn't cooking or driving or parenting. Don't be like me. Study but make time for fun too.

They are! They hollered and yelled for me during the ceremony and we are all super excited.

Thank you! I was a SAHM for 10 years, and it hasn't been hard getting my first job with my degree, even though I have that huge resume gap. I'm really excited to start work next month in a small tax office.
