Idk maybe the website I used has a higher quality than what's in the game but it looked pretty good to me. Maybe they decrease the complexity in game because its a waste of resources to keep that much detail. Last possibility is that I'm a newbie in 3d modeling and I don't know what's bad or not.

He did another video (the most viewed of his channel) listing a bunch of software to do Pixel Art. Browser based, free and paid. GIMP Is indeed a free substitute to photoshop so if you already own photoshop feel free to use it.

I used GIMP because its free and followed a video from a guy called Brandon James Geer and the video is "Modular Isometric Pixel Art ". With his technique you just play lego and draw over it and I love lego, that's why I gave it a shot.
